I know that feeling!! it's horrible!! Especially cos it doesn't matter how much you eat, that feeling of "hunger" just doesn't go away! I try to drink loads of water when I get that feeling cos sometimes it's actually thirst. But other times it's like nothing will do, and even though I know I'm eating too much I just can't stop!! :frown:

I guess the key is to try to not go completely nuts, and if you do, try to binge on healthy food, so you're doing minimal damage. :flowerforyou:

It happened to me 4 days back. I was in pain coz Aunt flow was home. Making up for the last two times, that I didn't even realize she was there. :grumble: I ate n ate, hoping some food would ease it(It works for me some times). I didn't even log the food that day. :frown:
Anyways, I suggest have a green salad. It will keep your mouth busy munching. And may give a feeling of fullness. You can add some low cal dressing to it. I tried lettuce, tomatoes and carrots with lil vinegar, salt n pepper. You can also try a glass of milk(as told by one of MFP memebers)
And of course, as Shivers said.... Loads of water. Sometimes, its just thirst, which you confuse with hunger.

I did the same thing last night. I had a pint of Haagen Dazs ice cream at the hotel I'm staying in and watched a movie. The ice cream was good and satisfying but I'm feeling guilty today so it's a longer harder workout today to make up for it and start a new month with better control -- hopefully.

I had a problem the other night - due to parades and festivities around I didn't hardly eat for the first half of the day - walked a LOT - then got home and logged and found that at 6 pm I still had to take in almost a full day of calories - but wasn't hungry - so I munched on chips and cookies - which I didn't mind but how good is that for you. This calorie counting is tough work sometimes.

Oh yeah, and as far as binging - I haven't logged in two days due to a guilty conscience. Don't worry - the good days will out number the bad.
