What are some foods you avoid because of their high calorieness? The higher the better (for me) :) Thanks!

Ditto on the peanut butter and olive oil. Most high-carb and high-sugar items because they are also higher in calories, and aren't worth it.

A lot of salad dressings. My favorite, Ken's Creamy Italian, has 180 calories in 3 TBS. I had to figure out how to make my own with plain non-fat Greek yogurt.

I have avocados, olive oil, and peanut butter several times a week because they have monounsaturated fats - and having them in my diet dropped my cholesterol score by 11 points! But I eat them in moderation, of course.

I avoid white flour, white sugar, and alcohol (unless it's 5 oz of red wine AND there's room in my daily calorie budget for it).

I also avoid ANYTHING deep-fried. I just imagine whatever's being fried as a little sponge soaking up a ton of really nasty grease, and then I don't want it!
