Eat clean - avoid sugar as much as possible, eat plenty of protein and fiber.

You can't spot reduce. If you're losing weight and it's working for you keep at it. You'll eventually lose it where you need to. For some guys the belly is the last thing to go.

Have you tried a variety of sit-ups? My husband melts so much faster than I do when he takes the time to train with me  Although they're tough at first, sit-ups really do make a big difference!

    Good luck!

Exactly right. While I'm a huge fan of everyone doing a good, solid core workout 3 times a week, it's not going to reduce belly fat. The only way to reduce fat (any fat) is to burn it off via having a calorie deficit. Whether you create that deficit using the MFP method (I.E. create the deficit, and eat back exercise calories to keep that deficit where it should be) or some other method (there are plenty of methods) doesn't matter, what matters is creating the deficit, and to a lesser degree for fat loss, eating the RIGHT types of nutrients. Please note, I know that the quality of calories is super important to healthy weight loss, please don't mistake my meaning, I'm simply saying that for fat burning, you require a deficit big enough to burn fat, but not so big that you disrupt hormone balance in the body.
