another running NSV tonight

Im selling my car so today i parked it out on the main road with the intention that later tonight i would run to pick it up. I parked it approx 4km away from my house.
So tonight i head out there with the intention that i would run atleast 25 minutes without walking, my previous best being 20 minutes when doing my 3km run. the difference tonight was that i wasnt going to worry about pace, just time.
as per usual after the 1st 10 minutes i am knackered, this is usually when i hit my rythm and start to feel good again, but then 10 minutes later im usually ready to collapse. this time it was different. 20 minutes in i still felt pretty good. i hadnt done the 3km so my pace was slower than usual, but that was fine, this is a longer run its meant to be slower.
i reached my goal of 25 minutes but still felt ok, so i kept going. when i hit the 30 minute mark i still hadnt walked and felt like i could keep going. only problem now was that i had run about 150 m past my car and my wife was expecting me home.
so next sunday it will be about the total time again, im going to try my 5km loop and see how far i make it.

That's fantastic, well done!!! I jogged for 2 miles non-stop yesterday for the 1st time ever, and I felt fantastic aswell ) Gives you such a boost doesn't it! x0
