Help! I need healthy craving killers STAT.

This is terrible: I've been killing my cravings with LOTS of coffee. I feel like it's making me bloated and I have heart palpitations.
I try to drink a lot of water, but it's not the same. I just want to eat and be really bad! How will I make it through!?!?!

Its ok, go for it! Do not pig out but enjoy what you want in moderation. Every now and then you need a cheat day anyways. Enjoy it!

Have you been eating super healthy up to this point? If yes, have a cheat day. You'll kill the cravings, and then feel sufficiently disgusted with yourself that you'll be back at it the next day, likely with more energy and motivation.

    Also, are you eating enough?

Naturally decaf herbal tea kills a lot of my cravings. Often, I don't feel like I want the tea, but I make it anyhow (knowing it will help with the cravings) and then once I have it I do actually enjoy it. That's what works for me- good luck! :flowerforyou:

Oh man I love coffee!! It keeps me awake at night. You're still trying to lose 20 pounds right? So, for you it's the home stretch. You don't have that much to lose. You already look fabulous, so you're going to have to respect that the next 20 might be incredibly frustrating.

At the moment, my diet is incredibly boring due to lack of $$ and I am having INTENSE cravings (for eggs, apples...) and well... I don't get paid for two weeks. What am I doing?? I'm getting creative with what IS in my cupboard. EXAMPLE: I have all the ingredients to make homemade bagels. Me and my friend are going to make them on Wednesday. I think these will be so delicious and so amazing! Plus, it will be fun and it will be something completely new I have never done before. What a bonus - expanding my culinary skills! I've never before worked with yeast... We'll see how I do for two weeks. My diet has been incredibly boring for two weeks, and I have another two weeks to go! I am half way through the most boring month of food eating in my life!
I'll keep you updated and let you know how the next few weeks go....

I think coffee is really a bad choice, haha...
Try water with lemon squeezed into it! Good luck!
  • Well this is the thing... I moved into a new apartment and had a few cheat days... Now it's as if I've released the bears and I want to spend the rest of this lazy Sunday with a bucket of KFC and the remote.

BEFORE that I was eating super healthy and hit 140 lbs, and today I'm 146!!!!! I've been working out though every day, lots of suicide sprints and calisthenics.

Could it just be water weight? Ugh, SO HUNGRY today. I'm trying to be good by chugging this water...

I wouldn't drink that much coffee. A few cups is ok as it does help your metabolism but everything in moderation. To help with cravings, drink lots and lots of water, make sure you are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and get in snacks in between, protein with each meal helps with the cravings, and fiber is great for feeling you up. I love Kashi go lean cereal. It is really satisfying. Also make sure you are eating enough:) Hope this helps.
  • I think decaf tea is a good idea... I'm going to try that right now. I have loads of tea here... I think I read that some celebrity swears by peppermint tea.

    Yes sounds very good!

And girl im sure its just water weight. If you have been moving and eating out and its hard not to during that time, its just from all the sodium. Im sure you went wayyyy over and just need to flush it all out. I drink alot of coffee as well and tea. I know its not that great but I have a huge cup in morning and sometimes at night too. I drink tea all day long with water.

I say if KFC is what you want, then go for it. Kill the cravings and just make sure you watch the rest of day and do some exercises to offset the cal intake from chicken. It will be ok. Monday is a new day and you cage that junky eating beast up hahaah :) I know what ya mean though, just once and you wanna go crazy. You can do it! Monday, back to the grind.

You can make it however you want. I just pick a salsa that I love (that isn't packed with sugar or too much salt), and mix it with yogurt. I experiment a lot with mixing low calorie foods that I like. The other day, my boyfriend cooked pasta (SUPER high calorie), and I only had ~2 bites of the pasta, then like 3 cups of the low calorie but healthy and delicious spaghetti sauce with grilled turkey burger in it. It was super good, and satisfying!
