Using a HRM For Walking Briskly

Options
I do ALOT of walking. Up until now I've only used my Pedometer. I would like to have some imput on using a HRM and what is a good one for a female, and where to buy one. I don't need to loose weight, but wondering if it would be benificial for me to use. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks ! Mari

I love my Polar FT4 and you can order it right from walmart for $80 or $90.

I have the Polar FT4 also and I do think it would be beneficial. I mostly use mine for keeping track of my target heart rate rather than the calories burned. Using the HRM helps me know when I'm working hard enough to get my heart rate up to where I want it.

I picked up my sportline HRM at walmart for $27. So far I haven't had any issues with it.

Hey Mari, I got a Polar FT 4, Katie got it for me on Amazon for 60 dollars. I love it and yes I use it for the calories but it is fun to wear when I am doing housework to see how much I burn. Get you one, you will love it!
