I have only been doing this for a day and am frustrated trying to log food. PLEASE tell me it gets easier.

It does get way easier. You will figure out the best way that works for you. I dont really even have to think when i do it anymore.

What do you find difficult? Finding the food? Remembering to log?

Do you have a smart phone? Using the iPhone or Android app can help.

But I hear ya. I find the logging tedious.

Probably the best thing to do is plan out your day first and log everything before you eat it.

I agree with Tabbychiro that the app is a great way to log.
One great thing about myfitnesspal is that I, personally, have only had to add a few items that I couldn't find in their database. That means less entering and more finding! Of course, once it's entered, it's there.

Give yourself more time to get used to the setup of the site/app and be patient.

it gets WAY easier...after about a week you think in terms of calories and its second nature. hang in there and LOG EVERYTHING, you'll be fine. Plus, the success is SO worth the 5 min a day of logging in (but, you'll get so addicted that itll be more like 5 hours lol)

    Good luck!

I log in from my computer. I use measuring cups and food scales and when in doubt, I over estimate. At first, I only ate things that were labeled but as I learned the system more I created my own recipes.
2 benefits: my meals got simpler and now after 6 months I am even able to eat out and feel like I have a pretty good idea of what i am putting in my body.
It does get easier just stick with it
