Piestewa Peak Question..........


So, I climbed it today and wonder if anyone has a clue as to how I would log it? My first guess is that I need an HRM to help with this, but just thought someone here could give me some help with this? Thank you in advance.... Any comments are appreciated and Thank you for your support! (B&J reference, chuckle!)


Oh, and here's what the website gave me for info:
Trail 300 - Summit Trail
Trail Length: 1.2 miles
Elevation Gain: 1,200 feet
Elevation: 1,400 to 2,608 feet
Difficulty: Moderate to difficult

    HI there!!!!

    I have been hiking Piestewa forever and honestly, I just use the "hiking, cross country" found in the database. I am sure it is inaccurate since Piestewa is a pretty good climb. If you are looking for really accurate a HRM would be your best bet.

    It'll be interesting to see if anybody has already done the homework. I'd be interested to see info on Camelback and National/Mormon Trail at South Mtn too.
