Just want to know if

I would just like to know if I am using the food and exercise diary the right way. I do have a few fitness games for the wii but I can't actually find a way to count these calories that I have burnt. With the food I am wondering if I am eating the right kinds of food, Water is the main thing that I drink every day with only a couple of glasses of coke and orange on the weekend. I only have a little bit of chocolate a couple of times a week and take away even less then the chocolate. Am I doing okay so far?

Of course it is best if we stick to water and salads, fruit and veg but a little bit of what we fancy helps as you wont feel deprived which is why many fall off the diet wagon. Regular coke is better than diet coke, but too many will use up your calories that would be better used for food. Proteins keep you fuller.
There are a few wii segments already in the exercise section; but if you can, the best way to measure them is to get a HRM, preferably with a chest strap.
Good luck0 -
if u go to walmart they have a calorie counter watch called c7 it is about 30 dollars. it is what i use to figure my calories. i also play a bunch of wii games and i actually for the first month i started, that is all i did was wii games and i lost a bunch of weight. i also eat chocolate sometimes i love it and i cant seem to get away. i am still learning a bunch of stuff myself but to me u seem to be doing good. good luck with ur weight loss and if u need a friend go ahead and add me.0

its not about "diet " waggon its about life style changes move more, eat less a health well balanced approach!
A little of what you fancy does you good.. i go by 80/20 rule ( good 80% of the time) Life is afer all for living
Good luck on your journey!0 -
Agreed, Diet Coke is actually worse for you then regular Coke! Also agree on the HRM, get a good one that straps around you (mine does and also has a watch that I wear that shows me my heart rate. I can switch it to show calories burned as well and it keeps track of how long I've worked out AND has a memory of the last several workouts although I haven't figured out how to work that quite yet lol
A good HRM is going to set you back around $100, but it's a very worthwhile investment!
On another note... TWIFAN??? CoolHave you heard the music of Rob's friends? They are AMAZING! Google them ----> Bobby Long, Sam Bradley, Marcus Foster, Lee MacDougall (just to name a few!) Mostly acoustic guitar, some stuff with full bands but all very talented young men.
