I would say no,you may end up feeling worse.Give you body time to heal itself and fight off the sick. Also if your contagious you dont want to go out around a bunch of people.

If you are not back up to 100%, you could hurt yourself. You need to let your body get over being sick. Maybe do some light exercise at home tonight and stop if you feel sick.

Im the same. Had the same thing over the weekend. Planned on getting up early and doing exercise before I got kiddos up, but I could tell when I woke up that my body wasn't ready for it.

If you can handle it and the cold is from the neck up then try it. Drinks lots of water and gargle with warm salt water. No if your chest is congested and you have a cough I would say no and try a hot bath with epsom salts tea and water

here is my advice: follow the "neck" rule. If your symptoms are ABOVE your neck (i.e. stuffy nose, headache, sore throat etc) you should be okay to workout. If your symptoms are BELOW your neck (i.e. fever, body aches, chills, chest congestion/tightness) do not work out, you need to fight off infection and rest. This is what I go by. Hope it helps!
  • I don't think it'd be good. your body can't finish the healing process if it's being overrun.

I agree with ProTfitness. I had a sore throat and felt achy, so I didn't do my 2 inbetween workouts before I saw my trainor that I meet with every Tuesday. I still didn't feel well on Tuesday, but I went ahead with working out with her, and I actually felt better when I was done!

If you feel like doing something, do it at home. No point in spreading the germs around.
