so im always obsessed with stupid scale and not paying attention to the little things.

so the little thing for me?

i can carry my 19 month old up the stairs without stopping AND without huffing and puffing my little lungs out!!

*fist pump in air* go me!! yesssss!!

    My scales are slow to move, but I have nearly lost my trousers a few times - I must start wearing a belt!

    Congratulations, that is awesome!

    It is also a great reminder to look at those accomplishments for what they are. Not everything has to be tied to the scale.

    On our hikes I have noticed that I can keep a steady pace on hills (which can be VERY steep in this area) and haven't had to stop and catch my breath for a few weeks. My partner (who is sweet but can be oblivious) even commented on my stamina improving.

    Now I am trying to picture myself lugging a 19-month-old kid up one of those hills...hmm....
