Way too Go!! I'm trying to do the same thing, Get it down to under thirty minutes for a Breast Cancer 5K walk in October with my Son and his girlfriend. It definitely gives me a reason to get on the elliptical.

I agree (confidence booster). I did my 1st 5K in October 2010 and wanted to do it WITHIN 40 minutes (what I had been averaging when practicing at the gym).

    I finished in 36:24.

This coming October, I'm striving to beat that time.

Great work! I just started the C25K today. I started on Week 4, because I've been using the treadmill for the past month and I'm hoping to do a 5K at the end of April. I'm just hoping to have my time under 40 minutes!

I'm doing my first 5k in May. I had to use my treadmill to train so I am hoping for good time. Good luck to you

Thank you. Are you doing the C25K or are you just training on your own? Good luck to you and feel free to add me and we can keep pushing each other.

Well done that's a fabulous time and congratulations on your progress so far.

I'm doing the C25K training programme. I'm on week 3 (kind of) and I ran 4k in 29 minutes on Monday. On Saturday I ran 5K in 41. I'm doing the Race For Life 5K in May and hope to hit under 30 minutes too.
