I am a big busted girl and often have a hard time with cardio workout being too uncomfortable if they have lots of jumping or bouncing movements. I would love some suggestions for a supportive sports bra.

I honestly have not found a great one. I improvise my wearing a regular bra under my sports bra.

or two sports bras - a friend of mine does that and says it's the only way!

Thanks for the suggestion. I wear a camisole with a built in shelf bra over my regular one when I workout, but since I am a F cup it still isn't supportive enough.

The Enell sports bra is good for larger busted girls - they absolutely will not move!! The bra is pricey - $50 - and not pretty (in fact, it looks like an upper body corset), but I promise there will be no bounce!

    Bravissimo.....Bravissimo......Bravissimo (www.bravissimo.com)

That is the only place that I get my sport bras and I'm a 34F in a sport bra (32G in a reg everyday bra). I wear the Shock Absorber one and love it. Yes you will pay a little extra to get it to the US from the UK but for me it's worth it. If you wash it on a delicate wash and air dry they will last quite a while. This is the one that I like (I have it in both the white and the black)........

That's why I get the one from Bravissimo.....it's kinda cute and definitely does the job. All Bravissimo's bras are cute......even the ones that go up to a J cup!!!!

I personally wear 2 sports bras. I buy a set of 3 from Wal-Mart (3 for $9.99) in a size or two smaller and another set that is the correct size....wear the larger one over the smaller one. It compresses everything and keeps the girls from bouncing around! ;)
  • I wear two sports bras, a tight tank top, and a tshirt over that.

Its actually bad to wear two sports bras. It compresses the breast tissue and actually causes more damage. You actually want a sports bra that has two defined cups and not a typical compression type bra that does the whole "uniboob" thing. I have had great luck with Freya actives underwire sports bra and also Anita's high impact sports bra. Anita's is wirefree if you do not like underwire in your sports bra. I thought that I would hate the underwire but its really great. These bra's are more spendy but definitely worth it to protect your tissue from permanent damage.

Moving Comfort gets excellent reviews. I tried to buy the Fiona at Nordtsroms but they don't carry it in the store.

I was going thru the mall and found a store and said "why not go in." Well I went in and found a bra. It is a Soma (Kristina is the name of mine. 40DD).

I tried that. They do not come big enough for me.

The elliptical is my bff in cardio workouts. The way my body moves on it gives me a great burn, but doesnt send the ladies flying all over the gym.

Personally, I wear a regular bra, along with a shorts bra. Ive often wanted to just used duct tape
