I have been on MFP for months now and somehow I missed a day and lost my record of 180 days straight logged in. None the less I started to lose control over the last month and gained 10lbs.

Yesterday I decided to go back at it with a little different plan. I normally would do a hr a day 5-6 days a week of steady state cardio(stairmaster) at about 143-145 BPM and then 1-1.5 hours of weight training. I still seemed to be gaining weight. Couldnt really see the fat but saw some muscle gain. Still none the less I wanted to go down and not up or at least maintain while gaining muscle and losing fat.

My new plan is to do 35 minutes of cardio a day BUT on my cardio only days I do 35 minutes of Stairmaster at 155BPM(level 14) and on my weight training days I will do HIIT on the Elliptical for 35 minutes with a fluctating BPM(max BPM 169).

Since starting this last friday I went from 192-189 and am shooting for 170. If I can keep my Body mass at 155 then 170 will give me 8.5% bodyfat.

All I count on right now is my cardio cals plus my cal deficit that ends up being about 1100-1150 a day and if I lose more then I lose more.

Not sure I understand. You are just going to eat your food calories and not eat any of your exercise calories?? Which will put you in a deficit....correct?? If what I'm saying is correct....don't feel bad about doing this. Some people eat their exercise calories....some eat only half and others choose to not eat any of them. It's whatever seems to be working for you and it gets you to where you want to be. Heck...switch it up every month if you want. Our bodies are not machines....sometimes they need a little change
    !

Great success so far though....keep up the great work!! And good for you for getting right back on track....that is the hard part!!!! You will surely reach your goal :-)
