My weight has fluctuated greatly the past few years and I have many marks to show it. Has anyone found anything that actually works to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks?

if i vigorously moisturize the areas the stretch marks are a bit less visible. i don't think there's any science to back this up though.0

Amazon has some bio-oil for as low as 6 dollars for the 2 ounce... that could give you a sample of how it does with your skin. Just a thought...0

i had hideous stretch marks when i had my first baby (big purple ones all over my whole stomach) and nothing worked. i used cocoa butter every day for the first 6 months of my pregnancy. i was even using it before i got the stretch marks. then that failed miserably, so i used bio oil for the next 6 months, and nothing worked. a few years down the track, they are now white, they took a couple of years to fade through from purple, to red, to pink to white. now i'm just resigned to the fact that i'll never show my stomach in public again in this lifetime. even if i do get rid of my caesarean pouch.0

Laser treatments work to reduce the size and colour of the stretch marks, but it's not cheap. I spent over €1000 on laser treatments after having my first baby some years back, but to me it was worth it cos they are so much better now.
Used Bio Oil the whole way through my second pregnancy and only got one or two more extra marks, so it definitely works as a prevention to getting any more0
