Hello everyone!

I am 24 years old trying to drop about twenty pounds and looking for other people I can connect with while trying to establish a more healthy lifestyle. A little about me I am married and have a three year old who keeps us both busy! Recently moved to the Norfolk area because my wife is Active Duty and I am currently going back to school to switch careers. Life kind of slipped me by and I just started adding the pounds without really giving second thought but have prehypertension and a family history of CVD, I thought its best to make a change for good. I look forward to hearing other peoples story about trying to get in shape and live a more healthier lifestyle. Talk soon!

Trey

    Hi there and welcome!

I think weight gain just creeps on many of us...including me!! You're certainly in the right place. Have a nosey around the forum to let you get an idea of what it's like here. You'll find great support and fantastic success stories.

    Good Luck :flowerforyou:

Welcome! I'm newish as well. I'm a graduate student and mother of 2 so I understand being busy w/ kids! I'm trying to shed the weight I've gained since I got off of active duty. My goal is to go back in the Navy; this board has given me the extra support I need-you'll love it!
  • Hello everyone, I just joined today, hope it helps me to get back on track. I had lost 80 pounds and slowly have regained 60 back.
  • Hi there,

Well after years of losing, gaining, losing, gaining (you get the picture) and various well known diets I find myself on here! I have been overweight for most of my life and really begining to dispare! Will I ever maintain a healthy weight?!?!? I am sure many of you can relate to this! So I guess I am looking for support and words of encouragement. In return I will offer the same (if only we could take our own advice eh)! So here goes, best of luck with your endevours....
