as i logged my weight going down , MFP changed my calories intake for me. over 5 weeks it went from 1240 to now 1200 a day.

when i hit 10lbs down, MFP mentioned i should look at changing my goals, so i would say every 10lbs?

I've been wondering this too, for when I get to that point in my weight loss.... I'm curious what people have to say...

Unless something has changed that I don't know about MFP does NOT automatically re-calculate the calorie intake. I usually go back in and refigure calorie allotment every 10 pounds or so (I'd probably do every 5 pounds if I had 20 or less to lose... though I'm sure I'll be at 1200 the entire time once I get that far)

Every 10 pounds lost MYFITNESS PAL asks you to change your calories (or it can do it for you, if you choose)... 1,200 calories is the lowest it'll let you go.

    Thanks for the help Ladies.
  • I think when you go into a new weight (ie 150 - 149) you should lower your calorie intake. Not sure how many you should lessen.

As u lose and enter ur losses it automatically decreases them for you. Good luck!
  • Actually I only lost 3 pounds and MFP changed my calorie intake by 20....
