12 Week Challenge

My church is currently doing a 12 week weight loss challenge and I am the spokesperson. There are 6 weeks left and I have not lost a pound! I can't say I'm giving it my all because honestly most days I over eat. I even wasted two weeks by joining weight watchers and that failed. I don't have to win the challenge but I need to show as a leader I'm doing my part and I lost some weight. How much can I lose in 6 weeks and what can help me get it off ? I want to continue my journey even after 6 weeks but I need help the most now. Any ideas? I will work on the obvious and stay under my calorie goal each day! But more needs to be done

    I have lost 15 pounds in less than 4 weeks. I am walking for 60 minutes EVERY day, because my DR told me that women over 40 have a harder time losing weight and need to exercise more. I have also stuck to my calorie limit (1400) calories a day, and have added lots of fruit and veggies to my normal routine. I eat 5-6 times a day as well. And I have upped my fiber intake to 30 grams a day and I eat a yogurt every day because I read that calcium helps with weight loss...

    Thank you. I'm going to try eating more fruits and veggies and make sure I'm moving each day!!!!

    You can easily lose weight in 6 weeks. What do you think the reason(s) is you haven't lost any? With your permission, I'd like to look at your diary. That's where it all starts. Beatlemom has a great food plan going. How much do you see yourself losing in 6 weeks?
