Good morning! How are you all?
I'm chipper this morning surprisingly! I guess because it's the weekend.
We're going to do a brake job on our pastor's jeep this morning (maybe that's why I am chipper). Could take several hours. I am not sure if I will do Shred today. Depends on the brake job. Wish I knew how many calories I am burning. Probably not a whole lot but should be something!
That's all I have planned today. I may try to work on my son's bed (sanding) if I'm not too tired.
I hope you all have a great day! I'll get back on later and let you know what I did actually get done today!

I still feel sick/bad/exhausted. I'm taking another day off. I keep planning to exercise, and can't. My husband said "you're not cheating. . . you're sick." to me yesterday. It helped to hear it. So strange that your ovaries can rule your life.

I just hate the chronic-ness of this stuff, and I am so over it. I know when the no-energy days hit, and this is the last one I'll have before the specialist appointment for more answers. I'm trying to stay tough and positive, but this sucks. If I feel better tomorrow, I'll go to the gym. (usually I have three bad days and then I start to feel better. . .so hopefully this month is the same).

Sorry to be such a downer!

Mary, this whole concept of eating intuitively is terrifying me. I'm realizing reading the book that I have no idea how to eat, especially that whole "unconditional permission to eat" thing. Yikes. For so long I've tied up my goodness as a person to my diet.

Take care of yourselves today, everybody!:flowerforyou:

OK, I we got the brake job done! It took a little longer than the one we did last weekend. I am worn out. Maybe I could count it as 3 hours of strength training? I do feel like my legs and arms got a work out.
Not much else going on for the day.
Viv, get better soon. I'm sorry you have to go through this every month! I hope the doc has some answers and help for you! Rest up!

Just finishing up everything from the trip to planet Houston. Went to a wedding and 10 course traditional Vietnamese wedding reception. I had 3 courses (soup, entree, and cake) as all the courses had meat - it was very nice of them to have a special entree for me!
I only walked 30 minutes today - and, wonder of wonders, stayed close to my calories - though I'm not really being strict on that. I'm tired, time for bed.

"my goodness as a person to my diet"

I think we know you better.

It's a really hard book to accept and understand. How do I know if I'm satisfied????

Greetings from Minnesota! What a day. We threw a fundraiser and the band (cast plus crew guys) played in the middle of a cornfield under a crisp, dar sky. Wild night! I came home exhausted and covered with a layer of dirt but managed a workout and a hot shower and now I'm about to hit the sack dog tired.

I'm sticking within my calories, for the most part. Was over yesterday (even with a good workout last night) and maintained today.

Not sure if I'm ready for intuitive eating...the concept is mind-boggling to those of us that have been "dieting" our whole lives. It sure is interesting to follow along as you (vivia and Mary) try it.

A few more days then it's home sweet home for one day, then flying to Austin to see my dad for the weekend.

This job is getting easier...but the eating right on the road is not!
