Im scared sh*tless b/c this is all going to be new to me but I think Im ready to push hard and get it done....My problem is, I dont even know how to start to train for something like this. Could anyone give me some ideas on where to begin?? Im currently doing Jackie Warners dvd about 3 times a week which incorporates strength training and then I do yoga about 2 times a week for body alignment and flexibility. I eat healthy for the most part with 1 cheat day a week but I stay within my calories. I am still in the overweight category by about 30lbs but Im down 15lbs from my original weight. This event is in July so I have some time to prepare but the clock is ticking and I know it. I dont want to just compete, I want to try and win this thing for my division. Thanks for your support MFP :))

    That looks like fun; kind of similar to the Warrior Dash that I am doing this summer. Just keep training -- getting yourt strenght and endurance up (and the yoga will help your balance tons, too), I think you'll be fine.
