Okay I am curious to know if anyone here is doing the atkins or a ketosis diet?
And if so how much weight have you lost, in what amount of time?
I did the ketosis diet over a year, at my heaviest 199 and lost twenty pounds in 2 months. After the first twenty I did not stick with it, but I never gained back any of the weight. So I have decied to do this again. I am two weeks in and have lost 9 pounds, this time I am not finding as difficult as before.
They say when you are in ketosis you should be able to drop 4 pounds a week. But I only mange to loose 3 pounds a max week. So I am curious if any of you are doing this diet and if so how much weight have you lost.

I am on Primal Blueprint, another LC lifestyle. I am focused more on just eating healthy and clean. Ketosis would be a nice side effect.0

I am in week 3 of atkins. I lost 10lbs the first 2 weeks. Honeslty I was a little dissapointed as I have read lots on how people have 20+lbs in the first 2 weeks, then I realized I am closer to my goal so it will come off a little slower for me. I have doen very well and only had one cheat and that was cheese curds...so not the worst cheat. I have had no sugar!!!!!!! I wasn't sure how I was going to handle the no sugar but so far it hasn't seem to be a problem. I am planning on staying on induction for at least the rest of this week and possibly next week. I am actually doing a biggest loser contest and it ends April 1st so I may just stick out the induction phase utnil then. Honestly I am not sure if this is the right lifestyle for me so I am not sure I will be an atkins forever person, although doing this had made me realize how many carbs I once ate so no matter what I do, I will be watching my carbs!0

i try not to go above 60ish carbs per day (in grams). I probably am in a mild ketosis state.0

I did another ketosis-based diet and after the first couple of "big loss" weeks, my losses settled to around 3lb per week too. Don't compare yourself to anyone else - you are a unique individual and 3lb a week is fantastic! It's amazing how quickly all those 3lb losses add up!0
