I have been LOVING omelets lately and when at home I usually make 2 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and 1 piece of whole wheat toast with jelly.
Now i am having a hard time losing weight so I'm getting really strict on my diet. I want to eat as healthy as I can so I can shed these stubborn lbs.
What do you guys think of this breakfast??? Please help! also, if it's not good, will you give me some alternatives or other suggestions? THANK YOU!

do you eat this everyday? Im not an expert or anything, but I think you need more variety in a diet. So you get all the nutritions
Maybe that causes a problem??0 -
I'm not having this everyday but close. maybe you're right!!0

thats a pretty small snapshot of your day for anyone to give any real advice.
I love omelettes too, but dont put cheese in them and load them up with veggies!0 -
I had a quick look at your diary - you've only just started with the omelettes, yes? I think it's better than the sugary cereal, but maybe build in some variety.
Your diet seems very high in carbs and sugar, even on days when you haven't recorded anything for dinner. Maybe look at healthier snacks, and not go so long between meals to keep your metabolism up?0 -

Thank you for the input I think you're right. I really need to get away from all the splendid
Carbs and sugar and look at better options. I'm reading a good book on it and working on it!!! Thanks again0 -
I eat an omlette nearly every day to, or I scramble the same thing I would put in an omlette. I would reduce the cheese you use and stuff the omlette with veggies like baby zucchini, mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers, onion, tomato or any veggie for that matter. While I use cheese I only use 1 ounce or less of 75% fat free cheese (much lower calorie). I top it off with some pico de gallo or salsa. I don't do toast in the morning unless I need some extra calories, then I grab 1 slice of 21-grain bread and put 1 tbsp of peanut butter on it. The sugar in jelly is likely not helping you, I would get rid of that too.0
