Weight watchers: I just joined, has anyone had any luck?

    My mother lost over 40 pounds using Weight Watchers. She loved it I think the meetings are the best thing, the rest is information that you can get right here on MFP.

    I lost about 25 pounds doing weight watchers along with exercising. Good luck!! I did it online and did not go to the meetings.

    Hi, I did WW a while ago and lost 75lbs in just under 8months, I loved the program (theres so many knew ones now) but this time arounf losing my baby weight I just couldnt afford to go back, this site has everything I need and Im happy im here

    i lost weight but i couldnt keep it off. i found that i was always very hungry, all the time!!

    Calorie counting has been the way forward for me. everyone is different so good luck and hope it works well for you. xxx

    I lost 55 lb. with WW 10 years ago, made Lifetime membership and kept it off until I had kids. I struggled with their nursing plan, and in the past year of recommitting to lose weight, I've found it's roughly the same approach as counting calories, WW just easier if you don't want to track your food journal online, or if you like the live support you get in meetings.

    I'm not a fan of the new PointsPlus plan though. I went to a meeting to learn about it, and my opinion is that it's too restrictive, even if it works. I also think it's much more complicated than their older Points plans.
