Want to munch!

Veggies, veggies, veggies!
I often bring extra fruit to work for a "munchie moment" as well, plus keep a small container of hummus in the work fridge to dip all those veggies in and a bag of almonds in my desk drawer.0 -
these are "processed" foods and therefore deemed evil by all the purists, however, i enjoy the following:
-Special K sour cream and onion cracker chips. 27 chips are only 110 calories, and that one serving is more than enough.
-Honeywheat braided pretzels. 8 rods = 110 cals. i like to dip them in mustard or a wedge of laughing cow cheese (35 cals per wedge)
-Light string cheese (60 cals per stick)0 -
low fat yogurt
almonds
fruit
veggies w/ hummus or low fat dressing
pitas and peanut butter (I like it with some banana)
drained tuna and whole grain crackers
a piece of whole grain toast and a cup of green tea
those are some healthy snacks I like.
I also have some good not so "healthy" but low cal snacks if your interested in those.0 -
100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn!
Popcorn is a whole grain! :happy:0 -
A low-fat string cheese (mine are 70 calories and 8 grams of protein) with carrot and cucumber slices or with an apple. That is my afternoon snack every day!0
