I do not currently use one, but I've been looking into getting one so I would be interested to see what people have to say about them!

    Thanks!

I've been wanting one too and would like to see some of the responses. I would also like to know how it rates compaired to a HRM and if the cost and monthly membership is really worth it or if it would be just as beneficial and less costly to stick with a HRM.

I have its "sister"....the BodyMedia Fit, I wear it 24x7 except when I'm in the shower.

I L-O-V-E IT! I'm all about tracking things and numbers.

I can see when I wake up in the middle of the night and how often, how efficient my sleep is. How many calories I'm burning every second of the day. I don't have to guess how many calories i burned doing a particular workout activity anymore. Counts my steps. I usually forget I have it on. I switch arms about half way through the day. And since I usually sleep on my left side, I wear it on my right at night.

I bought mine on eBay. I found one that came with a year membership for the online services. Also it was a "make an offer" deal, so I offered something less and they took it. Shop around. I do wish I had waited for the Bluetooth version since I plan on getting an iPhone 5 when they come out.

I don't regret the $$ I spent on it. Consider yourself an investment! You are probably saving $$ on eating out or Starbucks by eating healthy, use that $ to buy yourself one!

I would suggest you search the forums for old threads on Bodybugg (two Gs) and BodyMedia. There are lots of discussion already posted about them.

I have had my Body bug for 2 weeks so far. Plusses are if worn it accurately meassures calories burned. So its great to help figure out what you want to set your defficites at. Minusses are that the web site you use to interpt data is Clunky at best <being nice>.. My opinoin is in long term it seems to be great. in short term not what I expected. I will say its not a HRM the SP model for the smart phone doesnt work with the watch accesorie. The V3 model uses the watch <sold seprately> or you just plug it into a computer to inturpt your data.

Over all I like my SP model. take what you will from it and message me if you have questions.

I have the BodyMedia Fit. I have very mixed feelings about it. I want so bad to send it back, but I keep getting more and more attached.

The good: To my astonishment, it seems to give very accurate numbers
The bad: The Android app, to put it very lightly, it the worst garbage application I've ever installed on my phone. To make matters worse, the customer service has been very unresponsive about it. Finally, the fact that it's a monthly subscription service is really lame. What happens if the company goes under?

So, on general principle, I really really ought to send it back. But damn I sure do love having access to this data.

LOL I had no idea what they were, I thought perhaps it was a tape worm or something! ha ha ha
Anyone see Jimmy Kimmel's new workout? He mentions the tapeworm as one of the diet "crazes"! lol
