gaining weight, can't seem to lose it. i've tried a boot camp with a 1200 calorie per day diet, lost no pounds, just a few inches that came back shortly after it was over. i've tried south beach and weight watchers and weight watcher plus. i'm desperate. i do plenty of cardio and watch what i eat - nothing comes off! pants seem to just keep getting tighter!!!! i even ran a 1/2 marathon last week, nothing. i'm so depressed. i used to be a bone, then it all came on at once. i guess i'm finished pouting now.

    Can you open up your diary so we can see how you are doing?

    And dont get discouraged- this is a hard journey to be on. Dont give up! :)

    You say that you used to be a bone.

    Tell me, could it be that you are gaining lots of muscle mass?

    Your pants could be getting tighter because of growing muscles in you butt, thighs, hips, abs, obliques, etc; of course, I have no reason to believe this is the case, based on the limited information that you gave us, but I'm just asking if you've considered that possibility.

  • oh no, i've been with a personal trainer before, believe me, it's not muscle. when i hit about 25, it's like my metabolism came to a hault. i just can't afford to keep doing boot camp every month!
