Is a multi-vitamin enough or should other vitamins be added and taken daily?

Omega 3 is good to take along with a multivitamin.

    BUT...

If you start taking other vitamins like vit E or whatever, a lot of times it can have a weird effect on your body and you have to take other vitamins to help counteract that/ You basically have to be an expert on vitmins if you start taking them individually. I would just stick to a good quality multi.

a multi-vitamin is good enough. but if you can afford to purchase liquid multi-vitamins I strongly suggest you do as the vitamins and minerals absorb much faster into the body.

thats a broad question. it all depends..if you are eating a healthy diet, you should have no reason to take a multi. i take a multi because its flu season and i work in a hospital. usually i dont though.

    I generally take:

    2 chewable multi-vitamins
    2 chewable vitamin d
    1 chewable calcium
    3 iron
    1 B-12
    3 Omega 3's (fish oil)
