I am trying to be good and take vitamins every day. Not sure why I have a hard time with this. I feel sick after taking them. I always make sure I have food in my stomach but it always seems to be a problem. I am taking 1 multi vitamin, b-12 and calcium. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this, as I have not had this problem I did google some solutions and found:
    1. Iron - can be the culprit (not necessary in the vitamin unless you are nursing, pregnant etc) maybe you can find one that does not have iron in it . (mine does not)
    2. split the vitamin in half and take at seperate times

hope this can help. good luck

They do the same to me. I take the One A Day adult gummies, they dont bother me at all.

I have spread them out over the day and it still has the same effect. I have actually stopped taking them int he past because of the way I feel. Heading into my golden years I really can't be doing that anymore. I am going to try the adult gummies : ) to see if it helps. I am not sure if there is anything I could take in a drink form that would supply me with what I need.

    Thanks for all the suggestions

I have the exact same problem. I have tried hundreds of things....taking with food, taking in the middle of the day, etc. The only thing that finally worked was I switched to the Adult Gummy Vitamins (they have them for almost every type of vitamin). I can take all I need now and I dont get sick.

I take the gummy multi, gummy calcium, gummy fiber, and gummy D

Can I find these adult gummies in like our local Walmart?

Thanks I am going to give them a try. I may start out with a multi vitamin first to see how I feel. Feel better too that I am not the only one that feels this way after taking them. It's like morning sickness! YUCK!

I have this problem myself. I used to take vitamins with my breakfast before I left home to drive to work. I would actually get the drive heaves about halfway to the office.

I've heard that certain vitamins within your multi can irritate your stomach, which is why people suggest eating when you take it.... but that didn't really help me out!

Now I take my vitamin at work during lunch and I have no problems at all with nausea anymore! Plus, it's part of my routine now so I don't really forget anymore.
