I am a big fan of hers. I've tried her 30 Day shred (did great with it) & am currently using her Yoga meltdown dvd. I was just curious if anyone is trying her new one called "Ripped in 30??" I live on a 2nd floor apartment, and can't really do alot of jumping, and was wanting to know if it was involved? Thanks!!

Keep up the good work!!

I haven't tried it but alot of my "pals" have and say it's awesome! I think I'm going to try it...
  • Just got it this week. I like it, I feel like it's more challenging then her shred. Oh, there isn't too much jumping involved in this one, maybe just the but kicks.

How is the yoga meltdown? I also live in an apt (3rd floor) and I've been worried about "bouncing around" for my neighbors as well.. I used to do The Firm workouts (w/ Fannylifter) but it was too loud for my neighbors-the floor squeeked-not pounded-weird. :drinker:

I just got the Ripped in 30 this week and started it! I love it!! It's set up a lot like the 30 Day Shred but it's harder, atleast I think so!! Not very much jumping, lots of lunges again, like the Shred! It's pretty killer and I've only done week 1. She claims that by week 4 you'll think she's gone insane! I'm a little worried! haha =)
She says it's the hardest DVD she's ever released! OMG!! =)

I just started it monday, i really like it, definetly need a yoga mat, i tried doin it on a rug :( not so great, however, i did strain my ankle at then end trying to do the warrior 3, because i have poor balance and weak ankles, but overall i would defintley recommend all of her dvds if they give u the same workout as the yoga meltdown!
and in workout 1 there is not jumping at all, maybe a hop to the top of ur mat as she says, but u can always just make a large step forward.

I'm on week 2/day 5 will be on Saturday (resting today and tomorrow). I am enjoying it although all the moves are so similar to P90X and Insanity with some kettle bell exercises. I feel challenged with week 2 after completing week 1. Jillian focuses on core and form. I have found myself instead of getting all the reps I make sure my form is correct (unlike my experience with Insanity). I have done 30 Day Shred a couple times before and the method is the same but with different moves.

I love Yoga Meltdown. There's some like jumping into positions, but you can step into them too (that's what I do). I've been using the dvd off & on since October, but have been doing it M-F for the last two months. I am definitely starting to see my body "tone up" and have some definition. I find it oddly relaxing
