I am 30 years old, loving this site. Looking for more friends to FB, or email or MFP :) I am looking to lose about 30 pounds and I am 5 and 3/4 inches :/

I have been off track lately and I would LOVE to reach my goal weight by this summer! I am currently unemployed so have all the time in the day to work out but usually just watch tv :p

The weather is getting nicer and my legs feel like they want to jog, my biceps are getting weaker and they want to feel the burn!!

With this on again off again cycle I think maybe its a "fear of success"?? I have lost a couple pounds and a couple inches then I stopped.

I really would like to get fit and be healthy and look pretty darn good :)

my email is miss_thang1619@yahoo.ca

facebook is Sunny Kokanee Leo

and here I am MFP

hope to hear from somebody who has similar goals/age bracket/can put up with my ups and downs.

Thanks

Sunny

Hi. I'm in the same boat as you. I could have reached my goal if i could be consistent, but i'm not so it takes so much longer and even worse i wonder if i can't get my habits to stick how long before I am back a step one again. hang in there and you'll find a way to get it right
  • Thank You!! Friend request sent :)
  • Welcome!!!

...and yes, why do we find it so easy to stop once we actually start seeing results? I think we tell ourselves "oh, I can do it again...no problem!". Or maybe we are afraid of succeeding.

However it works out, just keep at it. :). Don't be your own worst enemy!

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger...my problem is going back and forth...I go from one extreme to the other...either way under calorie goal, or waaay over. I never seem to be able to balance it out which bothers me, but on the good side, I've never stuck to a program this long EVER like I have on MFP...I tried many times before to do it myself and the second I lost a pound, I just stopped for some strange reason...now I may take a day or two of 'rest', but we can help each other stay motivated and on the right track...feel free to add me...we can do this!!!
