Hello everyone I am new to this site. Any encouragement you can offer would be great thanks.0

Welcome, welcome, welcome!! Let me encourage you not to think of this is starting a new diet, but engaging yourself in a healthier lifestyle. You'll find oodles of folks here willing to both encourage you and help you to remain honest and accountable in regards to your calorie intake and exercise dedication. Best wishes on your journey!0

HRM is heart rate monitor. I have a Polar FT7 and love it. because I know exactly how many calories I burn during a workout. It also tells me how many mins of my workout burned fat and how many were fitness/conditioning. You can get them at sporting goods stores (****s, Academy, or Sports Authority) or online.0

Hi Everyone,
I just joined "officially" last night but have been dieting since Monday. I too would love some new "friends" to help each other along.
Someone on this post mentioned bringing their "HRM" when they walk. Do they mean Heart Rate Monitor? And if so, where do you get one?
Its a beautiful day in Massachusetts...2nd in a row...I am feeling hopeful we all can do this!
Whoops - I forgot to quote before my last post. I'm still learning how to use this site! lol

Hey girl, I'm new here too. A co worker turned me on to this site and it has really helped me alot. If you're anything like me, you feel guilty cheating on this thing. lol I wish you much success and maybe we can help each other out. How old is your little boy? I have a two year old daughter. You'd think chasing after her I'd be skin and bones! Anyways, have a great night and keep in touch!
