Protein & Sugar question

Hi everyone!
I have some quick questions ...
MFP recommends I have 84g of protein a day ... I thought that was fine, until I started tracking. Like today, I had 3 egg whites and 2x 100g of grilled turkey breast ... and I went over my limit. Should I not worry about this number or should I cut back?
I am trying to focus on protein, only eat carbs (whole grains andraw fruit) for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.None at dinner (though I cheated today)
Also I have been tracking my sugar. I have cut out white sugar and desserts. Only consuming fruits yet seems my totals are over ... today I had strawberries and banana. Should I not worry or cut back?
Thanks!

If it's sugar from fruit. I write it off. Because they're not added sugar. when it's added sugar I worry.
I don't know about protein, if you want to build muscle, i don't see why that would be tooooo much of an issue though.0 -
Protein's not the problem if you're trying to cut weight, it's carbs. Protein will provide you what you want, lean muscle mass.0

Just saw the rest of your post...I wouldn't worry much about the carbs taken in from veggies & fruit but I'd keep the fruit in the moderate/low range because you can get a ton of carbs from it. The carbs you should REALLY be concerned about are the processed grains (breads, rice, etc).0

Thank you both for replying.
Yes I am trying to lose weight. I have quite abit to lose. I thought about low or no carbing it but I just could not do it after a week.
My carbs (now) mostly come from fruit. And I will have one microserving of a whole grain toast or pasta like every 2 days. But mostly fruits. I have not started looking into what fruits have more sugar (higher GI) just glad glad I cut out all the junk foods. Eating the usual strawberries, apples, bananas and oranges. I try limit them to 1-2 pieces/servings daily. And is much more satisfying then cake anyway LOL! Is this fine?
So another question then about protein, could I be eating more? I noticed if Iate more protein, I was fuller longer ... less looking for a carb to eat.
Also I read somewhere about eating micormeals 5 daily with protein at each. And that ppl should have carbs after workouts. Well I work out on my cross trainer in the morning for 30m then do some cardio like Zumba , simple excerises like juming jacks or light weights every other day in the PM. Should I have my fruit then?
Thanks alot!0
