Is there much difference nutrition wise between steel cut oats and regular oatmeal other than texture?

There is a big texture difference bewteen steel cut oat and rolled(reg oats) Nutrition wise I am pretty sure they are almost the same. The steel cut oats are in more of a whole form and I find them better. I also eat oat bran as well and that is higher in fiber and protien then both of those and a little less in calories. I like Oat bran and steel cut better because it is smother and creamier then reg oats.

No difference other than texture that I know of. Some people think steel-cut oats are more filling, but that's probably more noticeable if you're switching from flavored rolled oats to steel-cut, since flavored oats have other (not filling) ingredients in the same serving size.0
