Hello to you all! I have been doing Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown for 2 months and felt I needed more. So Last week I started Brazil Butt Lift and walking 25 min. in addition to the Yoga Meltdown. I have been working very hard and have not missed a workout. I also started drinking my husband's GNC AMP Pro Performance Chocolate Protein Supplement (until the organic one I ordered comes in, I am not down with artifical sweeteners and preservatives) with fat free organic milk after my "butt" workout.
I have been steadily losing 2 lbs a week until 2 weeks ago then it slowed to 1 lbs for the past 2 weeks (I get this is normal).
What has me concerned is tmrw is weigh in day and according to the scale when I got out of bed this morning I am up .5lb.
I have been eating my exercise calories back and eat a very nutritious diet. I concentrate on vitamins minerals micro and macro nutrients. I know it is only .5 lb, but how could I possibly be gaining when I still have to lose? I am a bit frustrated and confused.

As you know, weight fluctuates based on many factors. Could be muscle that you're building (from what I understand Brazil Butt Lift helps to build muscle) which will show up on the scale. Could be from stress which is a major factor as well. How has your sodium levels been in your diet (another major factor). And overall depending on how much you weigh, it just may be the process is slowing down for you. Either way, you've been doing an excellent job! Just release the stress and the anxiety! Maybe you should change it up and go back to what you were previously doing and see what happens.0

I was like that for about 2 weeks and I went to the doctor and she told me to add resistance training to my work out and amp up the resistence....your body may be used to your regular routine and you just need to challenge it more...Good luck girl, you got this!!! :flowerforyou:0

Check the ingredients on your husbands protein. A lot of those "Pro performance" formulas are geared towards guys only. If women use them, sometimes we gain. (I used to work at a vitamin store). There's a lot of stuff in bodybuilding formulas, that we ladies should stay away from.0

This is my question exactly.
I've also upped my strength training and protein intake. I've since gained 6 lbs. I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that my body is in shock and is retaining water. Once my body figured out what's going on, it should release the water and the scale should show it. Just trying to be patient. I just started the major workout/protein about 3 weeks ago.0 -
Your weight can fluctuate up to 5lbs in one day. I wouldn't sweat it, you are doing a fantastic job.0
