Hi everyone! I am wondering if it would be safe for me and my muscles to do additional weight training even while do the 30 Day Shred? I don't feel like I get enough of an arm workout with just the Shred alone. I was doing p90x shoulders and arms a couple of times a week before starting the Shred but have since stopped. I just don't get the "burn" with the Shred that I get with the p90x video.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'd say give it a try. I'm planning to do the same. I do a lot of weight training with my personal trainer 3x a week and plan on doing JM's 30 Day Shred soon. I feel the burn in my muscles plenty and I do an hour of cardio afterward, but I want to do something more on my off days. I want to be a fitness fanatic!

I would say it is fine to include more as long as you arn't straining the muscles! Haha, I am jealous though, the shred kills my arms! Guess I need to so some major working out in that department! :laugh:0

Me & My Wife Started JM 30 Day Shread about 2 weeks ago. JM is a Great instructor but I try to alternate routines so I dont get to confortable with the 30 day shread routine. You could also create your on routine with some weights and then alternate to see how that works for you.0

Thanks for the input, everyone. I know from past training that it's good to give muscle groups a rest in between heavy lifting. I'll probably keep doing the shred everyday and then work my P90X arms and shoulders back in two or three times a week!0
