I have reached goal but im wanting to add on a couple more to give me a range rather than a specific number. I find the thought of maintainance really scary? is that weird? I guess im so used to the numbers coming off that i kind of dont know where to stop! lol. I dont want to get any lower than 120 so that will be my limit, but how do u finally stop? and did you put the weight back on when you stopped?

Its not unusual to fluctuate a couple pounds up or down when you hit your goal. Just stay on your midified maintance program and you won't gain or lose to much.0

When bumping up to maintenance calories, go slow, add 100 a day for a week, then another hundred the next week, etc...if you add like 500 all at once you may see a slight gain.
I have NO problem eating them all.
I now eat 1700-2000 a day happily.0 -

I am your same height and weight 123. I've been in maintenance mode for about 3 months and will fluctuate a few pounds here and there but it is definitely water weight because a few days of drinking plenty of water gets rid of any extra pounds. I was scared at first but after about a month of seeing that I wouldn't gain it back, I really enjoy having the extra calories. I eat my exercise calories and did so when I was losing. I use a HRM so I get an accurate calorie count. I wouldn't survive if I didn't eat my exercise calories but everyone is different.0

If you don't eat your exercise calories, and you've already lost most of your excess body fat, you'll continue to lose weight, only now it will be essential body fat and muscle fiber.
You don't want this.

No, it's terrifying for me too. I just keep trying to remind myself that it's not healthy to eat at a deficit my whole life and it will only do more harm then good. Take it slow if you need too, but try not to let the irrational thoughts take over.0 -
I use the BodyMediaFit, so there's really no "exercise calories", it's all just calories.
It counts from midnight to midnight, then starts over. Eat what it says and stay the same weight. Simple.
I find on days I sleep in and then lounge around the house all day I am around 1600 for the day, and days I work hard on my feet and exercise I can be as much as 2400.
I don't separate non exercise cals from exercise cals since it just keeps on counting...
It does remind me to eat, too. Like if I know I only logged 450 calories that day so far and I look at the display and it's over 1000 at noon it reminds me that I am at a 600 calorie deficit at the moment and that's why I am getting cranky and developing a headache! Time to eat!
I have my diary set at 1600 (lazy day total), and if I exercise I will still log it to bump up the calories to more closely match the number on the display at the end of the day.0 -
