Hi everyone!
Just wanted to share that my passion is also a great way to shed inches and lose pounds! I have been passionate aout horses my entire life but I only really got back into riding about two years ago. Horse back riding has been not only a great and fun way to exercise but also a great way to keep on track with my weight loss goals. I find that with every inch or pound that I loose I become a better rider, as balancing and moving freely become easier. I've done everything from western pleasure to dressage so far, I've made a goal for in the next two years I'd like to start jumping or eventing, but I want to reach my weight loss goal before I start training.
Weight loss is soooooo much easier if you can apply your exercise and goals to something that you love or are passionate about! I'd love to hear stories from other horse riders or anyone else who has a passion for something that helps them with their weight loss journey!!
Thanks so much :)

You are so right it helps if you have something you love that you can work towards. I went bike riding with my 11 yr old daughter for the first time about 4 months ago and she said " Mom, I love that you can ride bikes with me,you losing weight is one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to our family. Talk about giving me some motivation . There are many things I want to be able to do with my family. I love to go camping and hiking but it is so much easier when you are thinner and in shape.

I am sure you will reach your goals. Being passionate about it certainly helps
