climbing stairs

Holly crap.... I have climbed a total of 42 floors of stairs today... thats 84 flights of stairs. My legs are jello now! and no I did not do it all in one shot, but in the last half hour I did 19 floors!! It burns a lot of calories!!

    wow. amazing job. it sounds as though you had quite the workout, if you are not used to it i hope you have some aleive and a hot bath.

    Wow, well done!

    My daughter does similar - she lives on the 8th floor of a tower block so occasionally does the stairs journey! Its a cheap exercise!

    Climbing stairs is a great way to burn calories. It can be strenuous but it doesn't have to be high intensity if you don't want. Just move at whatever pace you feel comfortable with. I climb about 500-600 flights of stairs a week. I go on the Stairmaster after every workout for about 20 min. Depending on the intensity it comes out to 95-100 flights. Feels great when I'm done. I feel like I accomplished something. lol
