Homemade hamburger soup
I love soup and this makes about 8 cups, 1 cup servings. This way makes it a little thicker, you could add more water if you liked. Originally it was just made with shredded cabbage, but i like the broccoli slaw a little better. I also like a little kick, but you can leave out the cayanne pepper.
1 can 28 oz crushed tomatos
1/2 can or 14 oz water
2 cups Dole Broccoli slaw
6 oz cooked crumbled 90% hamburger
minced onions
dried basil
cayanne pepper
a little garlic
i dont measure spices very well, just to taste. Sorry
throw everything in a pot, cover, bring to a boil and simmer for about half an hour or so.
Total per serving
88 calories
8 carb
179 sodium
8.5 protein
3 fat
4 sugar
to me it kinda tastes like Olive gardens Pasta Fagoli, but without the noodles.
