Wondering how to most accurately count p90x workouts. Aerobics? Kickboxing?

I created my own and used info from my HRM
  • On the Plyo I put High impact cardio, on Kenpo I do Kickboxing and the yoga I add more time because Yoga x is so much harder than other yogas.... That is what I do I hope it helps.

I use my HRM for all the workouts and log them as cardio so I see the burned calories. If you don't have a HRM I suppoes you would have to guess based on how hard you worked. I average about 900 calories per workout. Of course you can always log the strength workouts as what the are, I just find that tedious on MFP plus you don't get any measure of the calories you've burned.
  • thanks for the input everyone  time to invest in a hrm i think.

I created an exercise called "DVD Workout". I wear a HRM. I make a note in the notes section of exercise to state which workout I completed. Most accurate and least time consuming.
