I finally lost enough weight that I can wear some heels again and I have LOVED IT!
I have a beautiful pair of stiletto pumps that I just bought. Only problem is the right foot the toes are a little tight (closed toe shoe) Anybody know a way to stretch it out a little without buying something?

If they are leather try ice! Can work with non-leather too :)

  • If they are leather, get em wet then stick the toe of a wider closed toe shoeinside em til they are wider and leave it til they dry.

you need to make sure if its stitched or glues I don't know where you live but in California we still have cobblers (shoe) repair They can do it for a nominal fee. They also repair purses etc.

When I used to work for a department store we would stretch shoes. Maybe you could take them to a local shoe repair shop and have them stretched. Otherwise I have used wet newspaper and packed it into the end of the shoe, when it dries it will stretch it out.

My mom purchased a vesatile shoe stretcher. It not only stretches the width but also as adjustment add ons for stretching "hot spots".

I would agree with the others who have said "wet them" and stretch, but what I really wanted to say was GOOD FOR YOU!
It is definitely one of my goals, to wear heels again! It's nice to know other women share that goal! Congrats!

I have been told that rubbing alcohol will help stretch a leather shoe. And congrats on your achievement!
