I'm planning on getting a facial. They are perfect if you want a little bit of a "confidence glow."

Cute exercise clothes. Doesn't matter if they're a little baggy later on and I feel better in them than my "big" clothes.

I've been replacing all my clothes as rewards. And I got myself some bikinis for this summer now that I'm down to 150. I'm planning to take a beach vacation somewhere once I hit my goal of 135-140.

Rewards? That's a good idea. I'll have to think about that. I figured losing the weight would be reward enough for me personally but an added incentive might help.

You could reward yourself with going somewhere you've always wanted to go, maybe a mini vacation or something! Maybe some pampering like getting your nails done. If you already get your nails done then maybe splurge for the pricier option or some extra special nail art! I'm planning on buying myself some new shoes, a subscription for audio books (I like to listen to them on my iPod, good for working out cause you lose track of time), maybe some different workout equipment also! I haven't decided on everything just yet! :D

My 25 lbs lost reward is going to be getting my hair cut and colored at a fancy salon downtown. Normally I just go somewhere cheap. My 50 lbs lost reward is kinda odd and I'm fairly certain it won't be an idea for anybody but me. lol I haven't thought about any rewards after that.
  • I have my eye on a pair of fabulous black and pink Nikes! And Bare Escentuals make up!

Usually my rewards tend to be more towards new equipment, gadgets and sometimes a new FPS.

My first 15 lbs will be a new book. When I get to 160, I'm buying some makeup that I've been lusting after forever lol. My goal for 150 is these really cute shoes that I want. And when I reach my 140-135 "final" goal I'm getting new clothes (I want some cute dresses from PinupGirlClothing.com) and my third tattoo -- I've wanted it on the side of my ribs but have been too embarrassed about getting it there while I'm still so overweight.

I always buy myself things anyway so this is easy HAHA  My ultimate reward is going to be a motorcyle  As I get to my GW, I'll be getting shoes, (just bought myself a new bike recently) another bicycle for long distance road cycling by the end of this year, and new bathing suits!!! I'm going to be traveling a decent bit for the next two years on vacations and I'm a beach addict

Think thats my problem... i buy myself the shoes or make up that i want whenever and they arent a treat. I need something that makes me think i worked my bum off to get that! Thinking about getting my tragus pirced perhaps but im studying to be a social worker so im having to make sure my piercings and tats are hidden!!

Back in November I rewarded myself with a pro photo shoot and was very pleased with the pics.

I am still about 13 lbs from my goal. I would like to get my navel pierced once I reach goal.
Also, a nice new wardrobe. No sales racks or hand me downs. I am splurging!!!!

I eventually will get a tattoo but I don't consider it a reward because its something I have always wanted.

I have rewarded myself with pedicures mostly. When I hit 50 lbs I finally got myself an MP3 player - sure makes my workouts go by faster now!

I'm wanting to go on a cruise for my 40th birthday in October, which is when I want to have my final goal achieved by! :flowerforyou:

Rewards? Nothing but a healthier lifestyle. I'm trying to change who I am permanently. Do you plan to give yourself gifts every year you don't gain the weight back?

Why shouldnt i reward myself for the hard work ive put in? Whats a better way of encouraging yourself then to work for something you want. It gives a light at the end of a tunnel so to speak.

I hadn't planned on it but that's an excellent idea.

You quoted before my edit - I added this: Sorry if I sound condescending or b!tchy, but I personally do not see this journey as something I should be rewarding myself for. If that's what it takes for you to make it, great!

To me, the healthier body I'm happier seeing is more than enough reward.

No worries, Didnt mean to get on the offensive

ETA- i need to learn to spell tonight!

Maybe I'll buy a new belt or jeans or something.
  • My first incentive is to get in a dress I brought that doesn't fit by much. If I get into it by my birthday, I'm going to dance some more fat off my *kitten*.
