Have you ever had a day where your meals hit your calorie goals, and met or improved upon the RDA? If so - please share the details - cuz I can't seem to find it. Use of vitamin supplements is cheating

I take my good old multi-vitamin every morning. I swear it is placebo though! I never feel any more uplifted by them!0

If you are eating less than 2000 calories a day it's not very easy (dare I say impossible?) to meet the RDA on all of your days' nutrients. This is why supplements are a good idea if you're on a low calorie diet.0

Everybody's needs vary...it's not one size fits all. Not only that the BODY actually manufactures many of the nutrients we need when we get a small portion of our requirements from food. Food can only do so much within a limited caloric intake, that's why supplements are so important. This is a good "game" you have come up with but food alone can not supply the complete package that is needed for the body to function well. We know better now, and we can DO better!0

I used MFP for about 6 months before I lost much weight. I took this time to slowly tweak my food plan to ensure I was getting in a good balance of all nutrients and meeting my daily calorie goals. I can now complete a day without logging in and know with confidence that I have eaten a good balance and within calories.
Once you transition to consuming only "clean" healthy food it is actually not hard at all.
Oh, I also take a multivitamin (one of the few places to get folic acid), calcium, vitamin D, vitamin C, B-Complex, and a vitamin E ever day.0 -
I think I'm doing quite well - I just wonder if anyone has actually been able to hit the perfect targe with food alone. Sounds like the concensus is nobody has. Makes sense not being able to on less than 2000 calories. Currentl, I need to lower sugar and increase iron and calcium.0
