Wine Calories? Help!

So I cannot find the calories in Jackson Triggs Merlot red wine, can anyone help me? I've had a bit of a binge weekend and have a wine and cheese party to go to this week and I want to have a glass but fit it into my calories. help!

    Someone told me to think of wine like grape juice. I drink Riesling and the average glass (5-6 oz.) is anywhere from 140-180 calories.

    wine normally about 170 for a small glass:smile:

    Approximately 25 cals per ounce for all wines. Some a bit more, some a bit less.

    red wines are about 25 calories per ounce.....love them!

    I use the generic on MFP... calculates it at 120 cal for a 5oz glass.

    I asked my bestest friend in the world (google, lol) and when I clicked the second search result, it turns out that is in the data base here on MFP. Search the db for "Jackson Triggs - Red Wine". Per the db, there is 160 cal in one glass. Hope I was helpful :)

  • Thanks everyone, so I'll go and have a 6 oz glass of wine and just say about 160 cals to be on the safe side.
