Someone told me to think of wine like grape juice. I drink Riesling and the average glass (5-6 oz.) is anywhere from 140-180 calories.

    Have fun!

Approximately 25 cals per ounce for all wines. Some a bit more, some a bit less.

I use the generic on MFP... calculates it at 120 cal for a 5oz glass.

I asked my bestest friend in the world (google, lol) and when I clicked the second search result, it turns out that is in the data base here on MFP. Search the db for "Jackson Triggs - Red Wine". Per the db, there is 160 cal in one glass. Hope I was helpful :)

  • Thanks everyone, so I'll go and have a 6 oz glass of wine and just say about 160 cals to be on the safe side.
