Confused about logging resistance...

So I'm confused as to why resistance training doesn't count for any calorie burn? With someone who lifts the way I do: I could see this being a real problem with calorie counting from this site? I found another site that had a simple calculator for calorie burn during lifting and mine for today was around 202. That's a small meal for me.
Any suggestions?

You can log the calorie burn by searching "strength" under the cardio section and entering your time.
They also make a section where you can log more detail about that workout such as reps and weight!0 -

I just posted this topic as well. The answer I received was that you have to go to the Exercise Tab, and under "Cardiovascular" click "Add Exercise", then search "Strength" and you will be able to put in the amount of time you spent lifting. It will then add food calories to your total, tell you how many calories you burned (which I think is inaccurate anyway) and then it will automatically post to your news feed what exercise you did.0

I think anytime you get on a cardio machine and it tells you that you've burned x amount of calories for the time spent / intensity, the number is quite high which in my opinion, is not accurate. However, I lifted today for 40 minutes and it tells me that I've only burned 125 calories? I'm not talking about 5 lb dumbbells either- lifting weights. Once again, just my opinion though.0

It works well to log your weight lifting as both strength training and cardio. Don't stop logging the sets and reps just because its more helpful to log the calories under cardio. It's a few extra clicks but it's good to have a log of what weight you're lifitng, when, for how long etc.0
