I would not consider it an exercise.......instead under settings change daily activity to "very active". This in itself will show you that you burn more calories daily than someone else that has a desk job (sitting down all day).

I would NOT count it as exercise. Rather when you enter your goals and it asks you about your level of activity, I would use the appropriate selection there since you work on your feet and move around a lot. I cater so know you truly are active when waitressing, but it is not an exercise and you would only be cheating yourself in entering as such.

Personally I wouldn't count it as exercise. I would just make sure your activity level (in your settings) is accurate, either set to light active or active.

I do something similar, for a similar amount of time, and have my activity level set to lightly active. That works, for me.
  • what would be the amount of time I should use?

You don't need to specify a time when changing your activity level.

This is interesting as i do waitressing but only 1-2 days at the weekend. I have been logging it as exercise but not for the entire time working (6-7 hours for example). If im only working 1 day a week part-time surely thats not enough to change my activity level?? What should I do?
