I just discovered this website by accident. I'm curious so I figured I would try it out. My goal is to lose 55 pounds and get in shape. I started going to the gym a few months ago, I should go more often. I walk my dog most days, go to the pool once a week. Because I hate the gym cardio machines, i'm planning on starting the couch to 5k plus eventually using my bike to work. I have been dealing with my weight for years now, i'm almost at my highest weight and I need to do something about it. Start weight in January was 235 lbs. I had trouble keeping up with the gym and all because of digestive issues (i'm on nexium for a month now, it helps a lot, need some more tests done maybe).

So I hope to find what i'm looking for here, which is support :)

    Well this is a great place to get support. I tipped the scales and started in January as well. I have lost 22lbs so far. I like this site because you have someone other than yourself to answer to. I don't like to admit failure. lol! Good luck!!
  • I also came across this site "by accident"---I was looking for something else...but glad I did! Just started this week but I really want/need to do this....good luck!!!!
