  • I think it will get better, but make sure to stretch about 3 times a day for 10-15 minutes

i was sore for at least the first 4 or 5 days. I just kept pushing through and eventually the soreness went away. Crazy as it seems, working out again is one of the best ways to relieve the soreness....at least it was for me. Good luck!

Just work through the soreness. I find a pre warm up before you start the dvd is good. like walking around and moving your joints about. It takes about 3-5 days for the soreness to fully go. Depends on the person really!

I started level 1 today, I thought it would be ridiculous as I've done exercise dvds in the past and they didnt really do much to help. This one was brutal and it was excellent. I was sweating my butt off after 5 mins.

Yes, it will go away :) I don't know if you did sports in high school but I remember preseasons were 2 weeks of pure pain. The first four days will kill, day five will be a bit better... and so on and so on :)

The 30 day shred is a killer, but a good way to reduce soreness is amino acids, Vitamin shoppe has amino complex vitamins for 9 bucks, and/or soak in Epsom salt. By doing this I reduced my soreness time in half, usually I am sore for days but the amino supplements 2 before your workout and 2 more after you work out. Hope that helps!

all you need is hand weights and a non hard surface...I started out with 2lb weights for 10 days got sick didn't do it for 6 days and then started back up with 5lb weights...I have soreness again not as bad as when i first started but I figure the 5lbers are making me work which is a good thing...thank in there it does get easier :)

I was sore for about 6 days. I cursed at her when she said, 'some of you are on day 5 or 6 and should be finding this easier!' The heck it wasn't! But it got easier on Day 8...haha

Keep it up, you'll love the results!

I just finished my first 30 days yesterday! I love Jillian! I was sore for three or four days at the beginning of each level. I'm going to start at level one again tomorrow. Today is the first day that I haven't exercised in 30 days (except for two days that I was sick) and I feel like crap! My whole day is better when I start it with Jillian!

Im on day 2 and my arms are sore along with my thighs. I'm going to rest on Saturdays just to give my body a chance to rebuild and whatnot. So far it's been good though! I'm hoping to see good results!
