Hey,

I gave tea/coffee/sugar up for lent and I feel so much better for it.

It made me curious to know what you gave up for lent and how are you feeling for giving it up :)

Last year I gave up chocolate!! The worst part was after I had run the Bath Half Marathon they gave out chocolate milk and chocolate Tracker bars!!! Arrgh! I hit the flapjacks!!

Also developed a slight jelly bean fetish that year!!!

I've given up alcohol aswell- it's not so much the calories from alcohol, but the snacks/takeaways I crave after indulging! So far so good.... :-)

TBH I don't do Lent, nor New Year's resolutions because I think if you want to change something about your life do it as soon as you can, not waiting for an arbitrary date....BUT I happen not to have had any alcohol since Lent started, and I didn't last year either. I think I just don't feel like drinking at this time of year!
