Another newbie!

Good morning! I come to you all from another weight loss program. They recently changed the way they calculate things and it was not working for me. I was so happy to find this method of tracking and hope the "learning curve" isn't too difficult to navigate! I'm glad to be here with you all!

    Thanks everybody! I was very nervous to cancel my membership to the "other" program because of the accountability the online tracker gave. I found myfitnesspal and LOVE that there is an app for my iphone as well as web tracking.

    I have run into one thing already though- is there a way to enter the name of an exercise along with calories burned only? When I exercise I wear a heart rate monitor for accurate calculation- and it's not always the same. Do I have to create a new exercise each time?
